I'm the owner of Northwoods Imagery New England, a Connecticut Wedding Photographer serving couples all over New England, who care more about feeling their day than performing for it. If you're here for Wedding purposes and the thought of spending eight hours awkwardly smiling at a camera makes you cringe... we're probably going to get along just fine.
My style is documentary first. I want all the laughs, side eye's, shaky hands before you walk down the aisle, the crying, the quiet still that nobody else notices... you know, REAL LIFE SHIT. And - for sessions or portraits - I'll absolutely guide you when you need it, but I'm never going to force you into stiff poses that don't feel like you. The best photos happen when you forget I'm even there. Around here, authenticity always wins over perfection.
